UzzOps Access MVP – Chrome Extension
Effective date: May 12, 2026 · Last updated: May 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the UzzOps Access MVP Chrome Extension (hereinafter “the Extension”), developed by Uzz.Ai, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Extension. By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The Extension collects only the minimum information necessary to authenticate the user with the UzzOps platform:
- Authentication token: a short-lived access token issued by UzzOps upon successful login. This token expires automatically and is never shared with third parties.
- Tenant identifier and email address: returned by the UzzOps API during the authentication handshake, used solely to display basic context inside the Extension popup.
The Extension does not collect browsing history, keystrokes, clipboard content, financial data, health information, or any personally identifiable information beyond the authentication context described above.
2. How We Use the Information
- To verify that the user has authorized access to the UzzOps platform.
- To display the user’s name, email, and active tenant within the Extension popup.
- To maintain the authenticated session for the duration of the token validity.
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Extension’s core authentication functionality.
3. Data Storage
- Authentication tokens and session data are stored exclusively in the browser’s local storage (
chrome.storage.local) on your device. - No data is transmitted to external servers other than the official UzzOps API (
uzzops.uzzai.com.br). - All communication between the Extension and the UzzOps API is performed over HTTPS.
- Data is automatically cleared when you sign out or when the token expires.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Data is shared only with the UzzOps backend infrastructure operated by Uzz.Ai, strictly for the purpose of authentication and session management.
5. Data Retention
Authentication tokens have a short validity period defined by the UzzOps platform. Upon token expiry or user sign-out, all locally stored data is deleted. No data is retained on external servers beyond the active session.
6. Permissions Used
The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions, each for a specific purpose:
- storage – to persist the authentication token locally on the device.
- identity – to perform secure OAuth authentication with UzzOps.
- sidePanel – to open and render the extension UI in the browser side panel.
- alarms – to schedule silent token refresh for session continuity.
No other permissions are requested or used.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Extension is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Chrome Web Store Compliance
